Improving delivery efficiency: moving beyond automation and managing the value stream


For many organizations, an automation first mentality may be the norm as they embrace DevOps practices – looking at the manual tasks, identifying where delays exist and selecting an automation software product to reduce that constraint’s impact. However, constraints can exist anywhere in the delivery pipeline – from ideation to implementation – and by focusing solely on what is visible, organizations may be missing the hidden delays which present the biggest time sink in getting innovation to market.
